new snake
im new to snakes
but whats a cool snake thats easy to take care of?
any snakes that are not too expensive either.

I suggest looking at a lot of care sheets and doing a lot of research, Remember nothing is really easy to take care of, everything needs special attention and a pet no matter its cost is a mouth to feed and something you have a responsibility to care for.

Regardless of what you choose research is the key to making a snake easy to keep. That being said Corns and Kings are a good start.

yeah after thinking about it.
im thinking bout getting maybe a king or a gopher snake.
but im still researching about it to make sure i know enough before i buy one.

I have a northern pine snake and that's at least part of the larger colubrid family. Similar to gopher and bull snakes, just smaller. Of my three snakes (the other two are a BP and boa), it has the most personality and attitude and makes me laugh a lot. Not attitude in a bad way mind you, just a little pushy in a kid sort of way. He's great. I can suggest those for first timers.
I have not owned one but a large number of folks like corn snakes. I can't comment on kingsnakes.
