I suggest looking at a lot of care sheets and doing a lot of research, Remember nothing is really easy to take care of, everything needs special attention and a pet no matter its cost is a mouth to feed and something you have a responsibility to care for.
Well being that I've owned a BP RTP. I like both but my question to you is what size do you think you can handle! Some BP's Max out at around 6ft. But boas could max out around 10ft plus. After i seen a full grown boa. I decided BP's is for me LOL. Other than that good luck. This seems to be a great forum. Hope you find all the info needed to make a good decision.
Regardless of what you choose research is the key to making a snake easy to keep. That being said Corns and Kings are a good start.
yeah after thinking about it.
im thinking bout getting maybe a king or a gopher snake.
but im still researching about it to make sure i know enough before i buy one.

I have a northern pine snake and that's at least part of the larger colubrid family. Similar to gopher and bull snakes, just smaller. Of my three snakes (the other two are a BP and boa), it has the most personality and attitude and makes me laugh a lot. Not attitude in a bad way mind you, just a little pushy in a kid sort of way. He's great. I can suggest those for first timers.
I have not owned one but a large number of folks like corn snakes. I can't comment on kingsnakes.
