Bumble Bee head wobble? is it present?

is there a head wobble in the bumble bee because it is still spider50%?

Yes.
Some barely even show it, but yea. Anything with a spider gene will wobble.

Yes, I can tell you 100% they do. The one I just purchased has it pretty bad.

I have seen some bad cases but some people have bees that barely do it. I guess it just depends on the animal.

Just because bumblebee is 2 mutations in one snake doesn't mean it's only 50% each morph. Genotypically, it is 100% spider and 100% pastel (unless you want to get technical with heterozygosity, but that sort of discussion would get confusing). But yeah, the spider mutation is still fully expressed - including any possible defects that could be passed on along with it. Just adding another mutation is typically not enough to cover that up unless the other mutation also affects some of the same proteins that cause disorders in the other.

Exactly, bees have just as much spider in them as a normal spider. Just as some spiders have really noticeable wobbles and some have very little, bees will have varying amounts of wobble as well.

No it wouldnt...

It's a Het, that means it has 1 gene for Spider and 1 gene for Normal that are paired, the gene for Spider is expressed as one of the two morphs being expressed in the animal.

Any animal that is het or, if it exists (of which there is debate), hom spider will have the associated disorder (which is assumed to be a genetic neurological disorder, whats known is that it's genetic and closely linked to the spider gene).

So yes, a lavender spider, a lesser spider, pastel spider, even a BEL Spider (which can exist, but it will be a white snake, just because you cant see it doesnt mean the spider gene isnt there) will all have the wobble.

So ask yourself with any morph you see, "Does it have at least one gene for spider?" And if you answer yes, then it has wobble.

As far as how much wobble, depends on the individual, some you may never notice but when stressed or in it's spider offspring you will see the wobble. You cant get away from it and it would take many generations of flawless breeding to convince anyone you have bred out the wobble.
