cutting doesn't have a big effect when they leave the egg. it's when you cut (at what day) determines how long before they leave the egg. if you cut at day 10 and you cut at day 50 it's gonna take the day 10 eggs 30 days longer to come out than day 40. (day 10 was just an example) I don't cut on day 10. The main thing is, when ever you cut the eggs, you don't want the hatchlings to leave the egg until they absorb all of their yolk. and if you mess with them too much, you can scare one out before it should of left. this can cause problems that could of been avoided. yes, when they pip you can look at them, everyone does, but the more they are left alone the better off they are. they will be out in a few days after they pip anyway. good luck with your clutch, don
