    Blue Eye Lucy with ?

I have read all the threads on the blue eye lucy and now I'm more confused then ever. What would you get if you bred a mojave / Lesser Lucy to a mojave/ lesser lucy ... And what would you get if you bred the mojave/lesser lucy to stinger bee? thanks for the input.

    MALE: Lesser Mojave
    FEMALE: Lesser Mojave

    6.25%: Normal
    6.25%: Lesser Platinum
    6.25%: Mojave
    6.25%: Lesser Platinum, Mojave*
    6.25%: Lesser Platinum
    6.25%: Super Lesser*
    6.25%: Lesser Platinum, Mojave*
    6.25%: Super Lesser, Mojave*
    6.25%: Mojave
    6.25%: Mojave, Lesser Platinum*
    6.25%: Super Mojave*
    6.25%: Super Mojave, Lesser Platinum*
    6.25%: Lesser Platinum, Mojave*
    6.25%: Super Lesser, Mojave*
    6.25%: Lesser Platinum, Super Mojave*
    6.25%: Super Lesser, Super Mojave*

I see some outcomes listed twice... I guess that means they are more like 12.5% chance? At any rate, most of those would be white snakes I reckon. * means white snake

Without breeding trials I don't know how you would tell if SUPER had come out in any of them.

    Mojave/lesser lucy x Mojave/lesser lucy:
    -----------------------------------------------
    25% super mojaves
75% all-white blue-eyed lucys. 2/3 of these would be carrying the mojave gene and 1/3 would be super lessers, but it would be hard to tell them apart.

    Mojave/lesser lucy x Stinger Bee
    -------------------------------------
All of the offspring (100%) would be EITHER mojaves OR lessers. 50% would be carrying the spider trait; 50% would be carrying the enchi trait. Therefore you'd have:

25% lesser OR mojave stinger bees
    25% lesser OR mojave enchis
    25% lesser OR mojave spiders
    25% plain-old lessers OR mojaves

(... I'm not quite sure what's going on in the first response, but I think they're forgetting that all BEL genes are allelic?)

Didn't know that, I just plugged lesser mojave x lesser mojave into the gentics wizard.

If that is true, wouldn't you get 25% super mojaves, 25% super lessers and 50% mojave/lessers (some of which would be supers of one/the other/both)?

Also, they couldn't throw normals at all?

See that's what I was thinking, but I was way confused. I the other way is correct.

Yes, that is what you'd get, except that you couldn't tell the super lessers and the lesser/mojaves apart until you bred them, more than likely.

And no, they wouldn't throw any normals. And there's no such thing as a double super mojave/lesser.

25% super mojave, 25% super lesser, 25% mojave lesser, 25% lesser mojave

A lucy is a super form, meaning that all the off spring will be a visual (either mojave or lesser) so lucy x lucy will produce lucies. The offsprings will be, super mojave, super lesser and mojave lesser.

No, you wouldn't get any normals. Both animals carry a copy of a BEL gene (mojave and lesser, thus a BEL). Even if you bred a lesser/mojave animal to a normal, you'd still get all lessers or mojaves. But no normals. So by breeding a lesser/mojave to a lesser/mojave, you end up with all BELs.

That's why BEL and other "supers" are so valuable in breeding is that they will never produce any normals. Always morphs.
