    Re: Spider Wobbles??

My spider didn't get a wobble until it was around 600g. Now she has a fairly bad one. I find it is at its worst whenever she wants food or wants to be put back in her cage. She only does the corkscrew in certain positions, like when she is given oppurtunity to look down or look over an edge.

How bad can the head wobble get? Is it a progressive genetic disease?

Is the head wobble a progressive genetic disease? I know my spider didn't have it as a baby, but later developed a fairly serious wobble at around 600g.

    Re: Spider Wobbles??

My male started to wobble after about 11 months old and 750 grams.
He's not bad but definitely is a spider

Mine doesn't. Now i cannot speak of her first year of life, since I did not own here then, but since I've owned her, never seen it. Mayb she had it earlier in life, I don't know, but she is a no wooble spider now. With that said I know each one of her spider babies has the possiblity of having a bad wooble. I'm not saying she has better genes or something, just she does not wooble, what do you want me to say? She has a wooble but you just can't see it? Lol

    Re: Spider Wobbles??

I have been breeding spiders for 3 years now and have seen some with very little wobble to extreme wobble. It doesn't bother me cause they all still eat, breed, handle, ect just like any other snake I have own. I wouldn't ever give my spiders up.
