Help with purchase of 100% Het Pied Female 07/08, Prices? Breeder Suggestion?

Just wanted to ask my fellow members and friends what the going price for a 100% het pied female. My 2007 Pied boy is lonely and needs a lady to love. The snakes in question would be:

Snake 1
0.1 2008 1100 grams 100% het pied female(virgin, i believe!)
*Need to followup with seller for more info*

or

Snake 2
0.1 2007 850 grams 100% het pied female(proven breeder of 2 clutches, produced 1 pied from het pied x het pied pairing)

As far as what i know, both have pied markers(know this is pointless) and also that genetic paperwork is included(know this could be pointless also).

So i'm stuck because i would be soley be relying my purchase on who seems more truthful?....Need some advice on how to approach the purchase should i decide to go with one of them.

Also if you purchased a 100% het pied in the past or know of any recommendations of a reputable breeder? please list here or pm me. Keeping my options open.

850 grams is pretty small to be a proven breeder.

Snake 2 layed her second clutch in July and is back on feed.

Check out the BOI over at fauna and see if there's any information on either of them. I'd also be asking why they're selling them, what they're eating, etc etc.

If one or both of the sellers are solid and have a great history then it depends on what you want to do.

If there isn't much info if any on them, then I'd probably wait it out and buy from someone else that is more reputable.

Brian at BHB has hets right now.the females are going for $250 and the males are going for $75 dollars so for 325.00 plus the 50 dollars for shipping thats not a bad price..

Snake #1 sounds better because snake #2 sound too small to be a proven breeder so I don't know if I would buy that story! It best to go a known breeder like Brian and raise it up so you know the health and you know that it is a 100% het pied!

I would also suggest snake number 1 if you think the seller is legit. An 07 at only 850 gramsdoesnt sound right. Even if she did lay 2 clutches I think she would weigh more than that unless they bred her very small. They pop up every once and awhile so if you dont trust the sellers wait it out. In a perfect world it would be best to buy a baby from someone reputable but I know if your like me your anxious to put your male to work. I have a 2400 gram female I am waiting to prove out this year. My fingers are crossed that she lays a big clutch and I get a pied or 2 out of it. I bought her for a decent price from someone I didnt know so my fingers are crossed she proves. Good luck!
