Opinions on Nintendo Gameboy DMG-01 (i.e. the original gameboy)

I've been wanting one of these pretty bad, and since I had one as a kid and it got stolen I kinda feel cheated lol. I've found a couple on eBay and I'm wondering if I should go for it.

Does anyone have one? And what are your opinions on it?

I've never owned one personally, but go for it! You can't go wrong with picking one up. Then you can play Mario Bro's on it! =D That was my fav game. I would play on my cusions all the time. I'm looking at getting a old school domino city dule disk from yu-gi-oh. XD I feel like such a dork for saying that but yeah, I even built an awesome zombie deck and totally pwned my friend who had been playing for a few years. ^^

But go for it! I would of died to have one when I was younger, but never was able to. I did own a Game Boy color though.

Jeez I remember one of those bricks, I think the one my dad bought in '92 still works.

    Unless you're a collector, I wouldn't bother.

If you're wanting to play gameboy (GB) games, then get an emulator, available for PC, consoles (e.g. wii), or probably even handhelds. I know the DS and PSP have NES, SNES, and other console emulators. There probably are, but I can't say for certain that there are GB emulators for those handhelds as well.
