Why would a co-dom sibling be more money?

I was on kingsnake and I saw an add for co-dom siblings ( normals). These happened to be pastel siblings, it doesnt make sense they don't carry the pastel gene so they wouldnt be of more breeding value than a normal, correct?

Re: Why would a co-dom sibling be more money?

Techically no, a pastel sibling is no different than any other normal. Some people like the idea of a co-dom sibling because they assume that the breeding was done with better-than-regular normals, but in truth... it's the same thing. If someone wants to pay more for that particular normal, good for them. The genetics are the same as a regular normal.

It could be a lack of education on their part or they could be trying to make it sound better to get a better price for their normals or just trying to scam someone!

a normal is a normal...and it doesn't matter how many words you put before or after it....it's still a normal.
