Good luck and bad...

Clutch 3 is out! Final tally is 1.0 kingpin, 2.0 pinstripes, 2.2 enchis, and 1.0 normal. Gotta say I'm pretty happy with the outcome!



Now for the bad luck. Our spider female laid her clutch last night, and it ended up being mostly slugs. Two good eggs and nine slugs. We'll be keeping our fingers crossed for a lesser bee or stinger bee out of one of those eggs!

I'll let you know soon as I figure out for sure if there's any enchi in it. I don't think there is, but these are the first pins I've hatched out so I'm not positive. I'll have a better idea once he sheds.

Yeah it does really suck that she pretty much slugged out, but it is a small consolation to know she was developing 11 eggs for her first clutch. You can bet I'll be feeding her all the food she wants to eat this year.
