LMAO! Maybe we should leave him home for this trip. The thought of me coming up from a dive and seeing him giving you a hi five with one hand, pistol in the other is quite disturbing..

It would be interesting to see what you can find on this. Problem is though for every "scientist" that makes a claim about low numbers, there is another "scientist" that disagrees. This is where common sense and personal observation and experience comes into play.

No problem on the "Captain".

"Quite disturbing" to you....comical to BG.

As far as BG's leeetle research...he couldn't find anything in print yet, but he will say this. Big GUnns was recently in a country with many islands(ask BG's "special friend"...he'll tell you where BG was huh leeetle spy with nothing better to do than watch BG). BG was doing a leeetle snorkeling. Now BG may like Sharks, but he doesn't like to swim with them so BG asked the locals about Sharks. Their response was "there are no Sharks". BG asked why there were no Sharks around any of these islands. They responded "we caught them all". Every last single one of them. Now they go to other close by countries to catch them and are arrested by those countries if they have them in the boat. Now this is personal BG experience from people with no reason to lie. BG didn't state this to begin with because he is up to something top secret.

This shark weighed over 200lbs and he was caught using 50lb mono. I used an 8/0 penn reel and pole that I found on the ocean floor the previous dive trip.... Using that pole and reel I just rebuilt made it TWICE as fun!!!

Shark fishing is big in Fl right now because 1) the number of sharks hanging around the reefs is much higher then usual and 2) bottom fishing ain't that much fun when there is currently a ban on red snapper!
Pfffft.....BG will just pull back on the pole and flip it in the boat from 100 yards.
