Yes, you shouldn't handle them for about a week to let them settle in.
There are a couple things you can do to try to get them to take frozen, but some never will. You can thaw them out, then heat their head with a blow dryer and use tongs to twitch it around.
Is that his set up in the picture, or a feeding container?

Thanks I will try next time,,
this is his set up,, only the first meal will be in his cage and later I will feed him in a separate cage,,
also for him to get more confidence in the new place,,

I would stick with live if you had fed live and had success with it.
I'd also like to see some full shots of that enclosure, it appears to be missing a few things.
