Mice Direct
I'm probably going to hit the Repticon show next weekend in Pasadena, TX and this is the rodent supplier that will be there. Has anybody used them? I need to replenish some of my frozen stock but haven't used these guys before. Any input is appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Mice Direct
You can call them now and set up your order and save a few dollars. Show prices are higher than online.
Also, they don't bring rats with them. Not sure if that's an issue or not but wanted to mention it.

They only bring mice? That's weird.

Re: Mice Direct
That's what the rep said at the last show. I realized I didn't place my pre-order far enough in advance. They told me that they only bring what the majority of people purchasing a new reptile would need. So pinkies, hoppers etc....
Made a little sense, but they lost out on my sale. Maybe they will bring rats to your repticon. I will say though, there will be other vendors with rats if Mice Direct does not have any. Just have a good look at their stock. Since Mice Direct didn't have any rats, I got rats from a ball python breeder who's own snakes eat the same rats. The breeders snakes all looked in very good health and the quality of the rats is top notch. He brought lots of frozen as well as live.
I would like to also add, I have not done business with Mice Direct. I plan to in the future, as I have only heard good things about them on other forums.

Re: Mice Direct
Yeah, I talked to them and no rats. The vendor list doesn't appear to have another rodent supplier either

Re: Mice Direct
There probably won't be another exclusive mice/rat feeder company there, but there should be private breeders who will bring f/t feeders. There were three of them at the Atlanta Repticon. I'd have to imagine the Texas Repticon having at least that many.

Re: Mice Direct
At the Jax show and the Kissimee shows, I thought I saw rats too(MiceDirect). I know there was a price list for both mice, rats and chicks on the table so I would think they had all on hand.
It can't hurt to email or call and check.

Re: Mice Direct
Mice Direct will have every size mouse available, as well as an assortment of rats at the Pasadena show.. The rats sell out pretty quick. Sometimes even the Friday before to vendors. Because of their volume, it is difficult to bring a large number of rats, especially when driving 9 hours with a freezer.....
