    Aaron, I have been breeding a few Butters this year -- no ovulations yet. The Butters from my original breeder male are BIG EATERS. Consequently, these 2008 girls are a little younger 24-28 months old -- but have the size. I am unaware that anyone is doing the Special x Butter pairing this year -- I may be it for 2010. I am hopeful about getting some eggs. Just not sure when??

    Interesting theory Aaron! I know that BHB did a Special Lesser in 07 or 08? It did not resemble a Platty! I believe his gene is different than the Baker line. I found that BHB combo less appealing than the Baker Mojave Crystal. I am curious why we have not seen more of the BHB Special gene? Brian is not known to keep stuff hidden away.
