Re: what characteristics does a good quality spider have?

I don't really like spiders, lol, but if I'm going to buy one to breed ideally I'd want high white sides and all the pattern there,
no reduced pattern, killer head pattern and well, personality, because if there is one things spiders have, it's personality.
*I may not like them personally but having a female spiderbelly in the collection is kinda sweet*

Reduced or clean pattern, no spots/dots, high gold, and white is all preference. You don't want a dark or dirty spider, the designer morphs created from that spider will suffer.

Re: what characteristics does a good quality spider have?

Personally, I like spiders to be a nice light color with a reduced or unusual pattern, medium to high white sides and a nice head pattern.

I just hatched out this girl and shes close to perfect in my eyes but I might be a little bias. Sorry if I hijacked your thread.

Re: what characteristics does a good quality spider have?

Everyone has their own opinion. For me I like a really clean, yellow color, high white coming up the sides, and thick black stripes but very few of them. If it were to have really bright green eyes, that would make it a keeper alone. :-)

I think the best characteristic of a spider is when a spider is a spider mixed with another gene !!!!

Re: what characteristics does a good quality spider have?

It's all opinion. I like spiders that are more of a high gold color. I know most people like high white spiders but I don't care for them. But that's just me. Get the one you like.

Like every one said it depends on the person. What I look for is how much wobble they have.
