    pastel or normal

    ok so i got an adult male "pastel" in the mail. but he dosnt look like a pastel to me he looks like a normle. what do you think?


    and this is one of my younger pastels that looks like a pastel to me

    What color are his eyes? The pic looks like hes in shed but if you can tell pastels have green eyes. But he looks like a normal to me.

    Hard to tell because it's in shed, but I'd say yes it's a pastel. Pastels tend to dirty up as they grow. Post a pic after it sheds. I could be wrong, but the color on it's sides says pastel to me.

    he is in she but still he seems way to dark. and hes most definitely not a black pastel

    I agree, you'll be able to tell much better after it sheds. On a side note, your pastel looks very skinny. Is he eating okay?

    I suspect that is a pastel, the height of the light colored sides says pastel to me (should be yellow when he sheds out).

    He could go either way but if he is a pastel he is probably a fairly browned out guy judging by his color in full blue.

    yeah the yonger pastel i just got 2 weeks ago and he eat one small pinky im going to try to fatten him/her up in the next few weeks =]

    I also say Pastel, but you should know when he sheds out. I second the comment about the baby pastel. He looks incredibly skinny.

    I would say it is a darker pastel in shed but still a pastel.

    Definitely up that baby's prey size. Pinkies are far too small.
