Re: Please Include Your State
I usually just ignore the priceless, stateless and species-less ads.
Also, I hate that comparison entitlement crap. If I'm wondering if someone will go lower i just say hey, would consider xyz. Usually it's a yes, who cares what the guy offloading his morphs because he's bored with them is charging.
I watched some guy at a show tell a breeder he was being a jerk charging so much for Albino's. They were Lav's but this idiot hassled the breeder for a solid 5 minutes and walked away in a huff.

Point is, if someone prices it more than you want to pay, then feel free to make an offer, but don't get mad when they feel its worth more and decline your offer. It's their right as a breeder to price them however they want and yours a buyer to look elsewhere or not to buy.
(Note: not saying you lowballed the guy or anything like that. Just sharing my perspective as a seller)

I hate that too. Don't come to me and say "well, ABC is selling pastels for $100, you should sell yours for that too." Well, if you liked ABC's pastels, then go buy from ABC. "But I want one of yours, his are kinda brown". Well, that means that you prefer mine over theirs, but my yellow ones aren't priced at brown ones $100.
Doesn't hurt my feelings one bit to keep my yellow babies in my rack.

This is getting a little off-topic , but what's up with buyers acting offended at a seller's price? I had a guy look at a car once and tell me I was "out of line" for asking what I was asking ... I wondered how exactly it was that my asking price on the car had wronged him ...
And yeah, I think the universal proper response to "Seller B's are x amount" is, "Great! Go buy one from seller B, then." Geesh.
