    Burning...

So, I just got done reading another post about how burning things like candels, insence, or smugging around snakes can be VERY BAD for them. Can anyone tell me basically the "what you should never do's" about burning things around snakes mainly so I can have all the info on one page (thread)??? I don't want to accidently do something that could hurt my snake.

(Ex: no cedar, sage, scented candles...)

    Thanks.

I burn candles all the time for YEARS, no harm will come of it as long as your snakes arent trapped in the fragrance of the candles fumes. Your perfectly fine since rooms have plenty of air movement. 1-2 candles per room where snakes are is plenty

    Simple.
Don't smudge with sage around ball pythons.
    They will die.

    Re: Burning...

Anyone know why burning sage (or anything else for that matter) would kill a bp??? I'm a Chem. Engineer student, so if someone could explain it in more technical terms i'd appreciate it

    Re: Burning...

I burn incense in my snake room all the time. I keep the cat box in the little closet thing and every time I change it or scoop it I burn one, because the dust is kinda smelly. So probably like three or four incense a week. I've never had any issues.
