Need help with ID, pastel super mojave?

I am very new to ball pythons and don't know much. I got this lovely boy in jan or feb and have great plans for him in the up coming year.

I was told this little boy came from a lesser/mojave and pastel mojave and was purchased from outback reptiles. He is currently 550grams and is an 09. I am assuming because of is gray head he is a super mojave, but is he real yellow as well. Is he carrying the pastel gene too? I looked but have been unable to find pastel bel. any ideas?

Well, it looks like you got the Super Mojave part right. But, a lucy is just that, a lucy. I'm not sure that Pastel will effect the color due to that fact that lucys lack pigment. I do know that snake came from Josh, I would Quarantine extra strict. I had 2 females I bought from him come down sick. Good luck.

I would go with super mojo too. He is a hottie Good luck with him, and quarantine is always a good practice.

I believe most Super Mojaves will develop yellow on there bodies. The difference is that Pastel Super Mojaves have a whiter head.

I will say that he looks different than most super mojos I see.. I certainly wouldn't call it either way.

Here's my Pastel Super Mojave boy. There is a very slight shade of yellow to him, but its a more faded head for sure.

Thanks guys and ladies! sigh I guess just an unusual super mojave. And be assured this handsome guy was quarantined appropriately! Don't want any of my babies getting sick.
