If you just got this rat for breeding then you could of already compromised your collection from not QT. Rats can transfer many things that your rats arent immune to and wipe them out. Any new rats introduced need a month minimum alone to be sure their healthy.

And you can keep males with other males babies, they dont care as all they want is to mate.

All of Oxylepy's rats came from my own colony. No need to quarantine as they were all in the same weaning tub (before it is asked, yes males and female weanlings are separated) up until I gave Oxylepy his group.
