    Python Hunters TV Show

The NatGeo Wild channel has been showing a series called Python Hunters. I just watched an episode called Python Hunters: The Perfect Storm. They spent much of the show refuting the claims that the burmese problem in the Florida Everglades was caused by released or escaped pets.

Here is the show synopsis: "The Python Hunters tackle the debate over how the Burmese pythons came to be established in the Everglades. These expert hunters will work to reveal how to eradicate the pythons and how they began to roam the land."

It is being shown again tomorrow (Monday July 26) from 11a-12p. Here is a link to their TV schedule as they have several other good Python Hunters episodes as well: http://animals.nationalgeographic.com/wild/tv-schedule

Yeah...it is a very limited availability channel. I have Fios and i'm pretty sure anyone who has Fios gets NatGeo Wild.

Honestly, Its one of the best if not THE best herp shows I've watched. All the guys are funny, extremely logical and are actually conducting true science unlike the "science" proposed by the USGS.

    I give it a 10 out of 10.

They actually established that the majority of burms in the wild are from when the hurricane hit years ago, and they've had time to breed since then.
