Heating question

Hi guys, I live in an apartment in manhattan where temperature tends to fluctuate quite a bit throughout the year.

Would it be possible to use two thermostats to control heat in the snake tub? One controlling the warm side another controlling the cool side?

Would it be sufficient to keep the animal healthy and comfortable even if the ambient temp fluctuates?

That is what a lot of people have to do in climates that are a little more extreme.

Yes, I think that's a very good idea if you can't keep ambient temperatures up with just the one hotspot. A space heater may be simpler, though.

Hmmm, 20 watts or 1500 watts, I'd go with an extra UTH

I was considering using heat wire for the setup I'm working on. Helix has a thermostat that can control two devices at once. Would I be able to use this to control both the warm and cool sides from one device?
