Is the towel wet? If not soak it in the sink, then wring it out so that it is wet but not dripping. Fold it up to fit the size of the screen you want to cover and lay it on there. Re-wet it as needed.
If you are going to use a UTH or flexwatt, make sure you have a thermostat or at least a dimmer to control it...
