Re: My bee....question?
Looks like you photoshopped it.
Wall is diff color....towel is diff color.

Re: My bee....question?
Looking at the two pics I can see more of a difference than I thought. All the yellow that was on his belly is completely gone and is now pure white. Almost leucistic looking.

Re: My bee....question?
Second pic looks like a gray scale image...you should put something else in the pic with the snake for color comparison...
Lucifer Sam, Siam cat...

Always by your side...
That cat's something I can't explain...

Re: My bee....question?
no doubt, someone will come up with an answer that's as clear as 'black and white'...

Re: My bee....question?
The second image is enhanced. I can see the greying of the yellow/brown on his top. Trust me, I work with enough editing software to tell that this is a bad second pic.

Re: My bee....question?
Looks to me like it shed out the color layers in it's scales. It happens sometimes, here's a couple of examples I found:

Re: My bee....question?
I don't think the picture is edited, you can see the pink under it's heat pit scales. I've seen this several times. Sometimes the color change seems to stick (though it will continue to change), and other times they return to normal after a few sheds. Anywho, really nice looking snake--I'm jealous!
Cheers,
-Matt

Re: My bee....question?
I can see how one easily could have Photoshopped that, but in this case, I don't really see why one would ...
Did the change happen all in one shed? I have now seen a few BPs do this, but the odd part is that the only morph I've ever heard of it happening to are spiders. Has anyone ever had it happen to any other morph?
To give another example, this girl was a normal (well, "burgundy," if you count that as anything other than normal) when I got her ... Two weeks later she shed out and now she looks like this (the brown on her back is not poo or shed, but remnant of her pigment within her scales):
That is NOT Photoshopped in any way; all I did was crop the picture. (Didn't even do "Auto Levels" or nothin' )
... Sadly I think it goes back to normal after another couple sheds. (I say sadly 'cos they look very cool while they're like that ...)
On the plus side, that is one excellent-looking bee, even before he "turned gray!"
