Something wrong with my leopard gecko's foot?
I have been feeding my leopard gecko some mealworms in a calcium dish, so on her own will she can decide to eat when she gets hungry, well I noticed that some of the mealworms were missing so I thought she was eating them, so what I'd do was just fill the dish back up with more mealworms when she was running low. Well, I was curiously looking thoroughly at her tank and noticed a mealworm trying to escape out of the dish, so I removed everything out of the tank to see if mealworms were escaping, I found out the terrible truth that they were, and most of them were hiding in her hide she uses most the time. I am very afraid they bit her foot, but I don't see any tell-tale signs. All I noticed is that she kind of drags her foot whenever she walks and her nails get caught in the papertowl as her nails are pretty sharp. She lifts up her leg to try to lick it. What should I do? I am sorry for the run on sentences and whatnot, I'm just freaking out..

I just picked her up to see what was wrong with her foot and I noticed one of her toe nails were loose. It fell off and then she started walking normally.. I guess she's OK then, lol.

Lol, at least its not a Toe. Does it look like there is a wound or cut? I would give her a shallow bath. (Make sure the water is warm.)

When was the last shed? Was it a complete shed? Normally a leo won't allow something to bother it like that. They have the ability to shake them off or move to another location in the cage.
Beardies on the other hand, they don't have the sense to shake off mealworms and crickets. It sounds like to me that maybe your leo had some stuck shed on the toe. If the mealworms were making a meal of your leo's toes, you should have seen raw tissue exposed. Without pictures though, all I can do is assume.
