Re: OMG It Happened!!
congrats. same thing happened to me with a female. she looked like she had reabsorbed the eggs but still wouldnt eat. I left her only took her out to clean and give her water then I get home after the car accident i was in and find her on top of 3 eggs. 2 good ones and 1 slug. Needles to say they never seem to not surprise me.

Congratulations! I know exactly how you feel! I waited and waited and didn't think my girl was going to go and finally she started refusing feed and then ovulated and then laid eggs. 4 slugs and only one good one, so you can imagine how I'm like "AHHH NOTHING BETTER HAPPEN TO IT!!!!!!!!!" haha.
Good luck! Did you candle them?

They are huge! I didn't weigh them. I was so concerned about getting everything ready that I forgot.
Seriously, if I get 3 Bees I'll be acting like a Twilight fan when they meet Edward.

You mean, when they meet Jacob...
I have 5 eggs in the ER from a pastel x spider too. I was maternally incubating and it took too long (60 days) - eggs didn't hatch yet and mom left them! So, they're currently in a make-shift bator hoping they'd make it. We were hoping for just one measley bee!
To candle, just stick a small flashlight up against the eggshell. It will make the inside of the egg glow which gives you a good view of the veins and the "jello wiggler" (there's a video on a thread with that title). This is a good way to determine if the egg is viable because you will see red veins going around the egg if it's good - no veins or "Dexter blood splatter" not too good.

To candle them just use a led flashlight and shine it in the egg. There should be blood vessels inside, and should be a pinkish red color. If its yellow inside and only yellow its most likely a dud. Although some appear that way at first and begin to grow the blood vessels a couple of days later. Turn the lights off when doing so, easier to see.
Btw, those are some big eggs congrats, and I hope you get a bee or 2 or 3 lol

Thanks all. I just check on her looks like she is in full on shed mode. I may just wait until she's done to feed her.
