An iphone is going to cost you a lot more in cost of ownership than a blackberry is going to, that is for plan charges and so forth. I have a bb storm and have had for a year and I love it. My sister, mom, brother-in-law, and many friends have iphones and they all complain about crappy battery life and other issues that my bb never has.
The difference between the two as far as I can tell is that the iphone is more a personal, fun phone with a zillion apps, most of which are for personal use. The blackberry is more of a business appliance, with a lot of functionality and a few 'fun' apps for personal use.
Of course, if I was buying a new phone today, I'd get a droid, so take it for what it's worth.![]()
