Waking up to a crying, talking husky covered in her own poo was just joyous haha
Well, turns out she has intestinal round worms and intestinal whip worms. She loves to thoroughly inspect other dogs' poo and sometimes eat it, so they think that's how she got them. They gave us stuff to calm down her tummy and to kill both worms. They also gave us a pill that kills all her fleas and keeps fleas off her for a month. That will be lovely if it works! I'm sooo hoping it does... We also went ahead and got her another heartworm test and prescription thank god she was clear, after getting her with heartworms, it was the worst thing watching her suffer through the TREATMENT for it. They also gave us some stuff to calm her stomach while she's on all these meds for the wormies in her intestines. While she was there they gave her a shot as well to help calm her stomach and rehydrate her. We also learned that she's gained a lot of healthy weight since the last time she was at the vet and instead of a skimpy 33 pounds she's up to a perfect 40.5 pounds.
Thanks for all your help guys!! She's almost completely back to normal. We'll see how it goes after we give her the first round of all the meds tonight. >.<
