I am sorry for your loss loosing a pet, new or old, is ALWAYS hard. I lost a few gecko eggs (the babies died in the egg) and I am a little sad about it

If in the future you would like to get another ball python (which I think you should) find a good breeder by you who has snakes that have been well started. A good breeder will always help you with any problems you have down the road.
