Using tin foil to keep humidity up
I have a glass aquarium and I am wodnering where to set up the foil. Do I do it inside the actual cage, or outside? Also, where are the best places to place it? Thanks a lot for the help!

Just wrap 3/4 of the screen top with tin foil. Make sure to form it nicely to the edges so it sits on the tank nice. I use plexi-glass. I just cut it to size so it sits on the groove in the top plastic frame of the tank. Just as effective and a little easier on the eyes.

You could just get a humidifier and put it in the room. I have to use a DE-humidifier because its so humid here.

There are foggers available, which are normally used on amphibian type enclosures, but some people do use them for snake enclosures. I remember a thread a while back where a member was using one and his snake managed to dislodge the hose and escape through the opening...

Perhaps I could create a small, portable snake humidifier?
Perhaps I can patent it, and makes millions of dollars?
Any engineers here?

The tin foil trick works! Thats what I used. And it bumped my humidity levels up 20%!!!

I don't understand why you wouldn't do the tin foil idea, or plexi-glass. A humidifier for a BP is kind of overkill, and isn't generally necessary. Those are more for animals that need really high humidity (75%+). By using cypress mulch/aspen and covering about 3/4 of the top with foil/plexi you will be at 50% at least which is optimal.

There is the Reptifogger

I've considered it for while my guy is in shed that way I can set it and forget it instead of having to mist all the time...
