Those are deffinetly hypos. Hypos are usually born grey with some oranges or reds on their tails. As they get older there whole body will turn to an orange-red. Depending on who you get them from depends on the adult coloration. Just any ol hypo is pretty inexpensive now. But if your looking for some great bloodlines you'll have to pay a little more, but I believe its worth it.
BCI's are great pets. That being said, I would be hesitant to recommend them to someone who has never had a larger boid before. Females can get in the 7-10 foot range and weigh upwards of 35-40 pounds. Males are smaller getting in the 5-7 foot range averaging around 10-20 pounds. Just make sure your ready for a boid on the larger side of the spectrum.
