Shedding ?
I have only had my ball pythons for a few weeks one has a ring around its eye is that normnal when getting ready to shed? I keep hearing the hole eye with be discolored but nothing about the outer edge of it.

The one that has it i just got so i dont know what he looks like prior to shed they guy i got him from told me thats why is eye looks like that.

Hi,
That looks wierd on a few levels. 
Can you get a picture of his head (showing his nose from the top if possible ) and a picture of his other eye for comparison.
I'm thinking it might be either a retained eyecap or possibly an abraded and/ or slightly damaged eye.
Is he in a shed cycle or due to start one soon?

He only has one eye the guy that i got him from said that he was getting ready to shedn and thats why it looked like that i just didnt know if that is how its supposed to look. Im not sure how he lost his other eye.

the more i watch the snake the more i think that there is something wrong with him. He does not act normal i have never seen him coil up and he is not as firm as my other bp.
