Is there a limit/standard on pairing a small male with a big female?

I bought him about a month ago and he is a live eater. I am trying to switch him but he's being stubborn about taking F/T. He hasn't eaten since I brought him home so its been just over a month. I may buy a live weaned or hopper rat to get him going and then try a F/T right after. I just said he would be 100 grams more on the light side, he should be pretty close to 900-1000 realistically. I wasn't concerned until I got the 3500 gram girl and was looking at them in comparison. Thanks for the replies.

You will have to slowly move him off live. Takes time and sometimes you have to give tough love. Offer live then pre killed. Once they eat pre killed good offer nothing else but f/t. I got some going on 2-3 months no food as they ate pk well but don't want frozen. Others took to this method very well and pound ft
