Is all that tape of the low tack painters variety?
If it isn't you need to remove it as soon as you can.

Very nice looking and congrats on the new addition I would get the tape out of there also. If it is protecting jagged edges or something around the opening of the hide then I would just get some sand paper and sand the edges down.
