    Re: Adopted a new BP but feed questions

    Some Ball pythons have been known to imprint on certain color prey items. Generally speaking, pickiness increases with poor husbandry practices. If you get the snake into a night tight enclosure with two tight hides and leave it completely alone, it may very well eat anything you put in front of it.

    Re: Adopted a new BP but feed questions

    :::::UPDATE:::::

    I offered "SPOCK" (our new snakes name) a frozen thawed mouse and he struck it within 1 minute of putting the mouse in the enclosure. i went with a odd color solid pattern and he hit it hard and fast.
    about 3 mins affter the first mouse he hit another and seemed verry happy

    i'm so happy he ate and ate well
