squeaking
i have had my ball for about 3 months now and i have started to notice him squeaking a little bit. he did it at first but that was because he was getting crap in his nose. but now. he is doing it again all of the sudden. i have done a lot of research about it and everything points to an RI, however, he has no other symptoms, none. no funky bubbles or cream cheese mouth. nothing. he is active and fat and happy but he just squeaks every once in a while.. is it normal?

I say a trip to the vet just to make sure your snake is up to par!

Re: squeaking
he doesn't squeak when i open his mouth, nor is he squeaking that much. maybe like one breath or two a week. Like a sneeze almost. that would be the best way to describe it actually. like a sneeze that is squeaky. and only once in a while.
and the vet is on the to do list. as soon as i can afford it.. and i hate saying that.

Re: squeaking
Sometimes they can get a little stuck or loose shed in the nostril which kind of makes a soft whistling noise.
It happens sometimes. If you don't notice any other symptoms of an RI then it is probably nothing to worry about. If you notice another symptom though, take the snake to the vet.

Re: squeaking
One of the first areas to let lose when they go into shed is the nostrils and quit often they will squeak or whistle a bit during this faze
