I don't use a scale for their food but for snakes to a certain size I use a simple kitchen scale.
If I was going to get another one I would probably get this one http://www.reptilebasics.com/my-weig...hing-bowl.html

Re: Looking for a scale
I will second that recommendation. I replaced my previous scale with that one and have had no regrets whatsoever.
Ball Pythons:
0.1 Albino
1.1 Bumblebees
1.2 Butters
0.1 Mojave
0.1 Pastel
1.0 Spider

Re: Looking for a scale
I use a digital kitchen scale from Wal-Mart for weighing my prey. I use the Reptile Basics one for weighing my snakes. You can use the Reptile Basics scale for both. The only reason I ended up with both scales is because I bought the kitchen scale first, but it's upper range wasn't as high as I needed...

Re: Looking for a scale
Ebay. I bought a DigiWeigh 36lb which measures to the 0.1 in oz/lb/kg/g and shipped was under $20. I use an old margarine tub to hold both prey and bp with just a spritz of disinfectant in between. The one I bought was like this http://cgi.ebay.com/36-LB-DIGITAL-SH...item5193d38d17

Re: Looking for a scale
I just won a 36 pound scale from the link above on ebay for 98 cents.
Too many snakes to list. Ball pythons, Gtp's and Boa's. It easier to say it that way.
