    BP and Air Conditioner

Well, I wanted to know if it was okay to keep a loud Air Conditioner in the same room as my BP. Its about 14 feet away from my BPs cage but still is this okay?

Its fine as long as your temps and humidity dont suffer. Cold air kills moisture

Temps are suffering a little other then on the UTH. Cold Side is 78.8 Warm Side is 84.8 and then I'm not sure how but the UTH got up to 99 I just had to turn down the Thermostat.

The cold air may have made the probe think it was cooler, resulting in the thermostat letting the UTH work harder. Try to insulate the probe from the ambient temperature if you can, but not so much that it holds too much heat. I have a plastic cup over my probe. I don't think it helps much, but the apartment temps have been more stable lately.

I put a little piece of paper towel in front of the gap were the Thermostat Probe is so that should be fine.

That explains the cup. Been meaning to ask about it.

I doubt the A/C would hurt them as long as you keep your ambient temps up. When we had the snakes at my parents they were right above an A/C vent and my dad keeps it at 70* and our temps were relatively stable.

seal off the tank a bit better. more air tight. not completely. but so less room air gets in.

the noise wont bug him. if the a/c was vibrating his tank you may have an issue.

No, the a/c isn't vibrating his tank. Not sure I can seal it off any more then it already is. >.>
