I know, this little girl is my second pick up this year. I've spent well over 800 dollars on snakes and supplies this year, so I think it's quitting time as far as new ball pythons go... but who am I kidding? A month from now, I'll be cruising someone's site, and some little looker is going to catch my eye, and it's going to be ball python fever all over again. The baby season's just beginning, too. We're all doomed.

She was one of the $225 ones? Yeah, I was eyeing those--TOTALLY worth the money. I paid $200 for a pretty girl like that from Heather Wong a year ago, and I winced when I did it. But she's holding her color, and I see juvenile pastels that aren't even as pretty selling for $600. So now $200 seems like a steal!

Yup! A few more bucks for better quality never hurt. I'm hoping that her color will hold out, because I've got a high yellow spider that needs a girlfriend in a couple of years, and I think the resulting bees would be rather stunning. But even if her color doesn't always pop, she'll still be a babe with all of that blushing.

And who could say that that charming little python face isn't beautiful anyways? She had my heart at "hissss"
