Advice for the first few weeks?

I'm picking up my ball today I have the aquarium all set up, and everything seems to be in order, but how should I go about letting him get used to the environment? i.e. how long should I wait to feed him, should I keep things quiet around his new tank, etc?

Give him one week. No touching, no feeding. Only some spot cleaning. After a week give him some food, and let him digest for about 48 hrs. He needs a little time to get used to his surroundings. Once he realizes nothing in there is going to eat him, he'll be easy to handle. Good luck!

Don't hold him for 5-6 days after getting him. Only hold him while spraying the cage down and other cage maintenance. Ask the person your buying it from when the last time he was fed and what he is use to eating and his feeding schedule. Also ask any question that you have, you wan't to make sure you know allot about the snake you are getting.

How do you have your cage setup?
