That is a superb looking blood you got there, the deep red color is amazing!

I am very jealous, I cannot wait until my snakes reds start to look more like that. In your experience does the reds usually darken with age?

Do you happen to have any photos with a reference for size on that snake?

I dont believe I have any photos for size reference, but she's roughly 4 feet and 4 years old.

Yes the reds usually darken with age

IF your curious about your animals future coloring, shoot me a PM with a picture of it and I'll let you know what I think it might do later in life.

    Thanks for the nice words

    Re: Love them fresh sheds

I will try to get a pic of my blood when I get a chance, he just scarfed a mondo rat, so I dont want to disturb him for a day or two. I will PM you a pic when I am able to take one.

I really am starting to like blood pythons, and was thinking about this whole python ban going on and was considering getting a breeding pair of them so that I would be able to help keep this species available in captivity in my state.
Considering the whole idea of this ban is to prevent transfer of the animals over state borders I should get them soon huh?

Do any of you guys have experience breeding Blood Pythons?
