ball python growth
i have a baby but i seen 2 dudes walking with theres so i went to talk to them and he said he has had his ball for three years he say they grow by tank i didnt think that was true will they out grow there tank like i thought or will they not out grow them an stay there for the rest of there life

They will outgrow a tank if fed properly. His snake was probably not fed regularly. Most keepers of ball pythons feed 1x per week, sometimes more. Feeding like this should get you a nice sized adult ball python in about 2-3 years. Feeding a snake once every other week or longer will give you a stunted snake.
For example...Take two of my females. One was hatched in 2007, so she is 3 years old. She is 1500g. She lives in a 32qt tub. She has been fed 1x per week on appropriate sized prey since I got her as a hatchling. The other female was hatched in 2005, and is 5 years old. She was housed in a 75g tank with a corn snake and fed once (1 mouse) every 2 weeks. She is only 1000g.
It all depends on how you feed it, in my opinion.
