Omg gross!!!!!
Ok well this is honestly really gross so if you mildy squeamish dont read on...
I was handling one of my BPs that I havnt held in a while and I was wondering why he was getting so fat but I was like w/e. He hasnt gone to the bathroom in the last 2 or 3 weeks also so I thought it would eventually jsut happen. Well he kept trying to back away off my hands rather than just slither forward and explore which confused me, then when I was holding him up looking at the computer I felt something warm on my leg. He started to pee and drip. So I was like gross crap let me hold him above the garbage can and the pee continued to drip out so I was confused as to why it wasnt in urate form. Then after the drip sped up and weakened it lookedl ike he was pushing and out fell a urate, a split second after that, It looks like he shot out like 2 shots worth of pee and I was like WOAH WTF?!? Then he proceeded to take a nice long poop and I mean it is a lot of waste for one snake. Is it normal to have him let so much solids and liquids out at the same time because he hasnt gone in weeks??

Hahaha... welcome to the club!! I think we've all had a snake explode on us, and sometimes it comes in both liquid & solid form - so yes, that is completely normal. One time Toby went poop while hanging around my neck, and it shot right down into my bra. Talk about a weird feeling! Now go do your laundry, LOL.

Re: Omg gross!!!!!
My female het for Pied pooed over the weekend, just after I weighed all of my snakes. She filled up the corner of her enclosure, so I thought I'd weigh her again.
She lost 127 grams. She now weighs 848 grams EMPTY.
WOW, I wish I could lose 13.7% of my body weight by just going to the bathroom.

Re: Omg gross!!!!!
Yes, unfortunately it happens that way sometimes. One of my mine decided to do that during a reptile presentation I was doing for a kindergarten class...

That's exactly the reason I don't handle any of mine with swelling towards the vent.
