Hey everyone,

Let me start off by saying that I know that there are a ton of threads out there about shedding, but because there are so many...Its just easier for me to ask my question rather than piece together all the threads and try and figure out an answer.

So I am new to owning ball pytons and my ball just went through his first shed. I've read the thread on the shedding process and I feel like my ball shed waaay faster than the timeline given in that thread. I noticed him looking dull on monday the 28th, so I bumped up the humidity since then, I checked on him two days later and his eyes were cloudy, but not white/blue...just cloudy. Checked on him again on friday the 2nd and same thing, dull, cloudy eyes but not extremely cloudy. Now I just came in the room to find he has shed inside his hide (which I know is not abnormal)...Isn't that a little fast for a shed though (about 7 days)? His eyes never even got into the "blue" phase??

Also, he did not shed in one piece, there are maybe 3 large pieces and then a few small ones. the back two inches of him also has not shed yet, i will probably soak him tomorrow to get that off. Is this a bad shed? I know ideally they should shed in one piece...but is it bad for them to shed in three large pieces?

His eye look completely clear now so I'm assuming he has shed his eye caps...but how can I be sure? Is it easy to see them on his shed skin?

I'm sorry for all the questions, but this is my first time so I'm just trying to be informed!! Thanks for any help that can be offered.
