Woma and Spider Ball Python
I am interested in breeding in the future, and I was looking at what I wanted to breed, what I didn't want to breed, and what I want to come up with. So far, I have a lot of low-end morphs that I love the look of, and seem really cool
Anyways, I did (but have not crossed it off of my list) have a Spider ball python.
This is a Spider:

This is a Woma:

It may just be that I am not that experienced in ball python morphs, or that I am stupid, but I don't see a difference. Does anyone else see a difference? Does the Woma not have a wobble? If they don't I would love to work with them in the future, too! I am just confused, though.
Any help would be amazing!
Thanks,
~ Mac

Reason: hotlinking I'm afraid but a link to them is fine ;-)

Re: Woma and Spider Ball Python
I felt the same when I first got into ball pythons. Spiders and womas are very different though, as far as I know wobbles is only associated with spiders and their combos, so woma should be wobble free. Also spiders have white sides very similar to a calico and their pattern markings tend to thinner and more spider web like then the woma, which is more of an extremely reduced pattern IMO. Another noticable trait of the spider is that they have very defined head markings.

If you held both you'd see the difference more clearly.
As far as I know woma's have no wobble issue.
Not the best pics, but I did these to see for myself the difference.

Hi,
From my (extremely limited) understanding;
Spiders have a different, more gold colouration.
Spiders have a more extreme variation from the normal pattern.
Spiders have white up their sides.
And the combinations look a lot different when you compare the spider and the woma variants.

and in breeding, there is then al lot of difference, which combos are possible to produce

Re: Woma and Spider Ball Python
You can't really judge them by how brown or gold they are. High end animals of both morphs can be very gold. Spiders tend to be more yellowy-gold, and womas tend to be more orangey-gold. On the low end, they are both brown, lol.
Spiders have white splashing up the sides, and womas do not.
Here is a very nice woma:

And here is a decent spider:

Womas do not have the wobble issue.

Nice!
It seems like Womas are lighter
I think I'll work with both, or the Womas.

Re: Woma and Spider Ball Python
Womas are darker than most spiders
Look up at my second photo, the golden one is the spider, the darker one is a woma, both males.
