Re: UFC 116 Results: Lesnar vs. Carwin
I have noticed that a lot of people that didn`t like Brock Are now starting to turn their opinions....me included. I think this scare he had has humbled him. I like that. the humble and respectful ones are the TRUE heros...

I never claimed he was out but all he really did for the majority of the time on his back was cover up his head.which as I stated and will again IN MY OPINION he did not do.Now I know that he didn't land a lot of punches but the ones that hit their mark were signifigant. With another ref or a less publicized fight it easyly could have been stopped(I know I've seen stoppage on less severe beatings) Reguardless how you feel about the end result it was exciting to watch and I have respect for both fighters due to the sportsmanship demonstrated at the start of the 2nd round.Personally I would love to see a Carwin vs Lesnar rematch in the near future.

Who cares if he gets 500 punches to his arms? If he's covered up and they are not solid hits to the head, then who gives a rats? It's part of the sport to take hits. Who cares if he was on his back or if he curled up. What he did worked for him obviously. If another ref would of stopped like Steve would of, it would of been a bad call, it's different when you're on your back taking direct hits to your face versus when you're on your back taking hits to your arms covering your head.

Brock is a beast. i dont think there is anyone out there that can beat him. BTW The Crippler is also a beast. he took this fight after fighting two weeks ago i dont think there is anybody in the UFC that would do that. this was the best UFC in a long time.

his comments leading up the PPV, his comments on Fedor's Loss (he is the only one to actually defend fedor), and his post fight comments such as where he said he was standing before everyone has a humbled champion.
