She is from a friend of mine she was just a family pet but they recently had to move and the landlord was not keen on having a snake in the building.

The "plain blotches" are what we refer to as reduced pattern. She looks like she may be just about to shed in a few days!

Chance are slim she's a YB - even last year female YB's were selling for $300 and prior to that, more than that. I'd guess her friend would know if she spent that much or more on her. 
Doesn't make her any less beautiful and precious though - I'm a sucker for reduced pattern - most of my females are reduced pattern.
