    stubborn babys

    ok so i have a baby yellow belly that wont eat. iv tried splitting its head, tuna juice and i cant think of any other methods any suggestion? shes really quite small so id really like if she would eat something.

    Try some chicken broth. Worst case scenario you will have to switch from f/t to live.

    If you haven't tried it yet, offer a live mouse hopper or a rat fuzzy if you can get them...

    Ball pythons are nocturnal hunters. Feed it in the middle of the night while its more active. Try different rats and mice. After trying everything you can assist feed it. How young is this snake? Has it eaten before?
    Assist feeding is sometimes needed for the odd hatchling that just doesn't understand.

    Try placing the snake in a small paper bag with a rat pup or mouse. Try doing this at night.

    BLOW DRYER !!!!!!!!!!!! ...lol...lol it work for mine i thought he would never eat used the blow dryer to heat it up after I thawed it and BAM !!!!!! It was gone .

    Leave it alone for 2 weeks.

    Seriously... you may be trying too hard to get it to eat and paying too much attention to it, leaving it scared out of it's head. My second set of snakes wouldnt eat for like 3 months after I got them, finally I just ignored them and kept trying 1 to 2 weeks later. They ultimately took.
