Fishin is fishin...I could spend the day not catchin a darn thing, as long as the weather is good and I have a line in the water, aint nothin better than a day at the fishin hole!

Although...I wouldnt mind a $40,000 bass boat and well full of big ol' Walleye, ill settle for a lawn chair, cane pole and bucket O' Crappie!

My biggest bass of the season. Pretty big for a MN fish, state record is only 8 something, a FAR cry from the big texas/florida/california bass that you see pics of.

    A few more catches:

    Sucker from Mille Lacs

Big northern pike, wish I'd gotten a better pic, but self-shots with big fish are hard!

    pretty ambitious crappie

    Another few pike

Still looking for my first musky this season. I've fished a new lake very hard this year, supposedly has BIG muskies in it (DNR netted a 53'' and a 54'', these are likely 30-45lb fish) but not a high density.. and I haven't seen sign of one yet. I'm going to hit up some old standby lakes instead now that I've relegated that particular lake to bass and pike now.
