    Question Het. question

    So this may be a good question or u may be like wow is this guy retarded, the question is say I have a het. albino and breed it to a normal what is the odds of having and albino morph?

    albino is recessive both parents have to pass on the albino gene in order to make a albino.

    het albino x normal=
    50% WT
    50% Het. albino,

    het albino x het albino =
    25% WT
    50% Het. albino,
    25% Homozygous albino

    het albino x albino =
    50% Het. albino,
    50% Homozygous albino

    albino x albino
    100% albinos

    You run into the same problem here. For one the het Lav and Albino are not compatible and therefore you will only get 50% het Lavs and 50% het Lavs, het Albino. But without being able to tell which are DH and which are just het Lav it would be a waste of time. You would have a whole clutch of poss DH Lav/Albino.

    And with the het Lav to normal is exactly the same odds as the het Albino x Normal in your first post.
    0% chance of visuals.
    50% het Lavs
    50% Normals
    = Clutch of possible het Lavs.

    Both animals need to have the same compatible recessive gene to produce anything visual.

    The whole genetic thing is still really confusing.

    I do know that all recessive genes mean you need two copies of the gene, one from each snake, to produce a visual.

    Co Dominant genes mean you only need one gene to get more, since the snake is visual, it's easy to tell these. Any babies from a co-dom will be statistically half morph and half normal.

    There are a few dominant out there as well, where having one visual snake bred to anything will produce nothing but more of the morph.

    So far the recessive genes I know of are these:

    Albino
    Axanthic
    Caramel
    Clown
    Genetic Stripe
    Ghost
    Lavender
    Piebald


    Co doms I know of are:

    Black Pastel
    Butter
    Calico
    Champagne
    Cinnamon
    Enchi
    Fire
    Lesser
    Mojave
    Pastel
    Phantom
    Pinstripe
    Spector
    Spider
    Spotnose
    Vanilla
    Woma
    Yellowbelly


    I'm sure there are others. True dominant genes I'm not sure about, besides super forms of co-doms.

    Dominant genes don't produce 100% morphs - it's still a 50/50 of getting the morph or the normal. Pinstripe is dominant, Pinstripe x normal would be 50/50 approximately. Unless of course you're talking about a Pinstripe that is homozygous (has 2 pin genes), in that case it would produce 100% pinstripes
